It wasn’t long ago that truck drivers relied on printed maps to navigate. With no cell phones or GPS, drivers had as many maps in their glove compartment as the number of countries they visited, with extras for big cities. In the not-too-distant future, self-driving, fully autonomous trucks will communicate with each other continuously forwarding data needed for production to factories. This is no longer science fiction – it’s reality.
